w3mコマンドは、国産のテキストブラウザですが、ページャでもあります。画像を表示できるw3m-imgもあります。

概要

w3mは、 WWW-wo-Miru(WWWを見る)から名付けられました。 w3m(だぶる さん えむ)は、国産のテキストブラウザですが、ページャでもあります。wgetやfetchコマンドでダウンロードし辛いファイルをウェブからダウンロードをするときにも利用できます。

w3m-imgを使うと、w3mでもターミナルでも画像を表示することもできます。

Emacsのemacs-w3mやvimのw3m.vimなどもあります。

インストール

pkgコマンドでインストールする場合

sudo pkg install w3m

w3m-imgをインストールする場合は、以下の通りです。 pkgコマンドでインストールする場合

sudo pkg install w3m-img

設定

~/.w3m

が設定ファイルのディレクトリです。

使い方

ウェブブラウジング

w3mコマンドでウェブページを見るには、以下のコマンドを実行します。

$ w3m http://www.google.com/

白黒で表示する

デフォルトでは、カラー表示ですが、白黒にしたい場合は、 -M オプションで白黒にできます。

w3m -M http://www.yahoo.co.jp/

ローカルのHTMLファイルを表示する

$ w3m -T text/html foo.html

ページャとしてのw3m

w3mは、このような形でページャとして利用できます。

ls | w3m
